VIDEO: 2nd Annual Wellington Zombie Walk

A HORDE of up to 100 zombies celebrated Halloween with a parade around Wellington’s waterfront.

Participants rallied at the Paramount Theatre, where organiser Jonathan Helix outlined the route and warned them to be on the lookout for teams of ruthless zombie hunters.

This is the second year Wellington has played host to a zombie walk, an underground activity in which participants are encouraged to remain in character while interacting with the public.

The first recorded zombie walk took place in 2001 in Sacramento, California.
