Blutfleck brings the blood to the Black Circus

BLUTFLECK singer Kashmir Jackson (above) was well known for ripping open her shirt onstage and exposing the raw offal she has stuffed there.But she had to move on from that – because of the smell.
“I pretended to pop my guts onstage once, and the meat had been against my skin for a few hours, so it stunk,” she says.
She now offers the crowd strawberries that look like they have been dipped in blood.
Blutfleck’s penchant for blood and gore is inspired by B-grade horror movies and helped them stand out at the Black Circus on Saturday, when five designers showcased their clothes and four other bands performed.
Their merchandise included cute things of a sinister nature called Blutbuddies (right) and chocolate with “blood” centres.
Bex and Kashmir made five toys, all blood stained and holding knives and guns. The band is known for dismembering soft toys on stage.
