Oct 29th, 2012 | By | Category: Radio News

WELLINGTON RAPE Crisis saw in its 35th year with a bang last week.

The birthday bash held on Friday raised over 12 hundred dollars for the Rape Crisis, and featured performances from local musicians and a hula hoop artist.

Manager Natalie Gousmett (pronounce Goo-may) says that she received a lot of positive feedback about the night and it was great to see that people still support the work they do.
FW: People are still
LW: …we provide to continue
DUR: 19 sec

Ms Gousmett says that the event drew a much larger crowd than most of their fundraising events, as a birthday doesn’t come around very often and people appreciated the significance of that.
