Growing interest in Wairarapa history

INTEREST IN Wairarapa history is rising as people want to investigate where they came from.

District archivist Gareth Winter says over the past five years, enquiries to the Wairarapa archives have tripled.

He says online websites have sparked people interest in their family history.
