GUERILLA TACTICS are being employed by greenies in the Upper Hutt and Wairarapa, in order to spread a cheerful message this spring
Flower seeds rolled in organic compost and clay make up little “Happy bombs”, which volunteers throw into ugly vacant lots to create an explosion of bright wildflowers within a fortnight.
Greenie Claire Bleakley says the campaign is designed to promote nature as a source of wonder and bounty.
FW: It should be…
LW: mud pie game.
DUR: 15 secs
Claire Bleakley says the Happy Bomb campaign is doing the community a service as well as spreading a positive message.
