Massive perspex wall hanging for Carterton
Nov 9th, 2012 | By Christina Hyde-Fitzwater | Category: Radio News
AN ARTIST in her seventies will present a huge seven by three-metre wall hanging to the Carterton Event Centre today , a year after it was supposed to be finished.
Artist Rhonda Grieg says it took longer than expected to make because of the huge size of Perspex needed and also the difficulty to get the special art materials.
FW: The paints…
LW: … these paints no.
DUR: 11 secs
Rhonda Grieg says thankfully the Carterton district council was very understanding about the delays and are happy with the final product.
(Timelock: Friday 9 November)
