Opinion sought on Calliope park upgrade

COMMUNITY INPUT is being called for in Porirua East, as work continues to upgrade one of the major local parks.

The Cannons Creek Ratepayers and Residents association is leading the push to upgrade Calliope park, which locals used to complain was rundown, dirty and dangerous.

Spokesman Jon Blackshaw says phase one of the upgrade has begun and it would be good to get feedback from the community.
