Petone family business cuts it fine in the Hobbit

A SMALL family business in Petone is making costumes for one of the biggest movies this year – the Hobbit.

Stansborough Textiles is building on its success from the Lord of the Rings, to produce some prominent costume pieces, including a major part of Gandalf’s outfit.

Owner Barry Eldridge says other small companies shouldn’t be afraid to take on large projects.
