Wellington mayor gets second shot

WELLINGTON city mayor Celia Wade-Brown is straight back to work after winning her mayoralty campaign against John Morrison.

Ms Wade-Brown won the top job by about two thousand votes. The mayor believes the issues she raised in the campaign were relevant to voters.

Wellington mayor Celia Wade-Brown.   Two councillors Leone Gill and Brain Pepperell were not re-elected so there will be six new faces at the next council meeting.
