Jul 28th, 2014 | By | Category: Radio News, Sport

A FUNDRAISING effort is underway to send a local Pro Jiu-Jitsu Athlete to an international competition.

Jason Lee a member of the Jiu-Jitsu team at Wellington’s Gracie Gym is on his way to the 2014 Rickson Gracie Cup in Tokyo.

To get the $2,500 he needs to get there, he’s started a Givealittle website and is selling t-shirts and running raffles.

Jason’s previously won gold at the Pan Pacific Jiu-Jitsu champs and says attending this competition is important as it could lead to bigger things.
