Brewing up a brewery

Aug 7th, 2014 | By | Category: Radio News

Wellington’s home brewers now have access to the first commercial shared brew space in the country.

The Occasional Brewer located on Victoria Street provides professional brewing gear and a wealth of knowledge to enthusiasts.

Owner Peter Leninston came up with the idea at last year’s Beervana, when he saw the equipment needed and thought most brewers would not be able to afford to buy it all themselves.

He says their space is designed to help people learn to brew themselves.
