Political hoardings taking a battering

Aug 7th, 2014 | By | Category: Lead Radio Story

JUST over five weeks out from the election and political volunteers are already frustrated with people who damage campaign hoardings.

Jackson Freeman  volunteer hoardings manager for the national party in Wellington, says while they get hit hardest with 1 or 2 boards damaged a day, other party’s find it frustrating as well.

The volunteers  team up calling and texting each other when they see an  opponent’s signs have been defaced.

But he says the party leaders aren’t fazed by the vandals.
