Rugby fever builds ahead of Saturday’s test

Sep 9th, 2014 | By | Category: Radio News

RUGBY fever is building in the capital ahead of this Saturday’s clash between the All Blacks and the Springboks.

Wellington City Council is planning to entertain the thousands of fans expected in the city for the game, with a special fan zone in Civic Square where they can enjoy performers, face painting and food.

A photo booth has also been set up at three locations throughout the week allowing fans to create a time lapse to show  support for the All Blacks.

However, MetService forecaster Leigh Matheson warns  rain jackets may be needed at  the stadium on Saturday night.
