Sep 5th, 2014 | By | Category: Radio News

AN organisation that offers support to the community is now looking for support itself.

Samaritans started a text-to-donate campaign this week which runs until November 22nd.

Samaritans offer a 24 hour anonymous support line for people who may be feeling depressed, lonely or contemplating suicide.

Board member and volunteer Carolyn O’Fallon says they answer up to 20,000 calls each year and rely entirely on funding to pay the bills.

If you’d like to donate to Samaritans  TEXT 2014 to 2446 to donate $3

And if you’d like to talk to someone the number is 0800 726 666.
