New Zealand warned of summer cyclone threat

EXPECT some wild weather this summer.

The summer cyclone outlook for the South-West Pacific was released today and New Zealand has a higher than normal chance of being affected.

However, the places expecting the greatest impacts from the seasonal storms are Samoa, Tuvalu and the Cook Islands.

Eight to twelve named cyclones are predicted  during the up-coming  season which begins in November and goes through to April.
