A NEW interactive language based activity is expected to attract more families and children to Te Papa.

StoryPlace is aimed at pre-schoolers and supports the  Pacific language initiatives already happening in communities around the Wellington region.

It’s the first time Te Papa has used Pacific language based activities to complement its existing Pacific craft and history displays.

Rebecca Browne who coordinates StoryPlace says it allows young children and their families to understand the museums Pacific cultural displays through songs and stories.
