WATCH: Wellingtonians gathered at Civic Square on Tuesday night wrapped in French flags and carrying flowers to remember the 129 people lost in last week’s Paris terror attacks .
The event was very emotional with many people shedding tears during speeches by the French Ambassador Florence Jeanblanc-Risler and Wellington Mayor Celia Wade-Brown.
As the vigil came to a close, a lone women brought the crowd to their feet as she sung the French National Anthem with everyone joining in.
