A CLIMATE change conference in Wellington has ended with a call for traditional knowledge to be used in the fight against global warming
Those attending the Pacific Climate Change Conference at Victoria University recently, have returned home to look at what else they can do to address rising sea levels and poverty.
Arianne Kassman from Papua New Guinea says resilience is a key strength of Pacific people and they need to use it effectively to fight climate change
She says indigenous communities need to revive some of the basic skills used by their ancestors to survive
