Karori wants vacant campus kept for community use

Sep 19th, 2016 | By | Category: Radio News

There are calls for the Wellington City Council to keep parts of the Victoria University Karori Campus for community use.

The university announced last week they have started  the process required to offload  the Karori campus, saying it’s surplus to requirements.

There have been suggestions that the campus could be turned into a school, but Save the Karori Campus member Rob Gourdie says  that’s unlikely to happen.
