Inequality and public perceptions a paradox

A new report suggests inequality in New Zealand may not be as bad as the public believes.

The Inequality Paradox, released by The New Zealand Initiative last week, argues that counter to public perception, income inequality has been consistent over the last 20 years.

Report co-author Dr Bryce Wilkinson says that by one measure, inequality may have even decreased.
