Youth cricket changes get the thumbs-up

Oct 3rd, 2016 | By | Category: Radio News

Recently announced changes to junior cricket in Wellington are getting the thumbs-up from a former Wellington Firebird.

Cricket Wellington says the changes, which include making games eight-a-side up to year seven, are designed to address a big drop-off in participation at years seven and eight.

Andrew Lamb, who played for Wellington and is now the development officer at Victoria Univeristy Cricket Club, supports the changes.
