The U.S. elections are two days away and social media has moved into overdrive.

Twitter has played a crucial role for all candidates in the build-up to election day but some candidates and supporters have used it far more effectively than others.

Republican candidate Donald Trump hasn’t held back any punches when commenting on his opponent or the current President Barack Obama.

The hashtag #whichhillary has been used to highlight what some are seeing as Clintons contradictions on her policies.

One of the most popular anti Clinton hashtags, #crookedhillary, inspired by a Trump speech has gathered hundreds of thousands of followers and even grown into a full blown website.
