New league a boost for girls cricket

Getting more primary school-aged girls into cricket is the goal of a new league being run by Cricket Wellington.

Qualified coaches will work with the teams, which are open to girls of all skill levels in years 5-8.

Cricket Wellington’s Eimear Richardson says the league is a great opportunity for players and clubs.
