Hall closure sees students caught out

Feb 23rd, 2017 | By | Category: Radio News

Victoria University has closed one of its halls of residence just 11 days before students are due to move in.

The 180 bed Boulcott Street Hall has been closed for earthquake strengthening and won’t open again until May.

Student Association President Rory Lenihan-Ikin is praising the university’s foresight in accepting fewer students, but says that is not the association’s biggest concern.
