May 17th, 2017 | By | Category: Front Page Layout, Latest News, News, Picture story

Members of the Peace Movement Aotearoa gathered at the Wellington Cenotaph at dusk on ANZAC Day.

Holding candles and singing songs, they remembered the fallen, the contentious objectors and called for an end to war.

The event was organised by Edwina Hughes and was connected to the World War One Centenary Peace Project which has co-ordinated vigils since 1914 marking the start of the war.
