Mar 18th, 2018 | By | Category: Front Page Layout, Lead Radio Story

Four women  are hoping to become the first all-female crew to row across Cook Strait.

Wellington based Tina Manker, Johannah Kearney, Rachel Gamble-Flint and Eleanor Morris will attempt the crossing from Picton rowing club to Wellington rowing club in mid April.

Their Manager Heather Scott says they’re going to become a regular sight training on the Wellington Harbour.

While the expedition is a first, Heather Scott says the team has experience competing internationally.
