Polish film festival proves a hit in Wellington

The Wellington Polish Film Festival is growing each year.

The third iteration was just held over the weekend.

Festival director Wanda Lepionka says many happy customers attended sold-out screenings over the four day event.

She says a key goal of the festival is giving Kiwis a chance to meet Polish filmmakers.

Wanda Lepionka says there is an element of pride for New Zealander’s of Polish heritage too.

 

The Roxy Cinema in Miramar hosted seven film screenings over the four days of the Wellington Polish Film Festival
