Increasing milk prices impact on coffee sales

Aug 23rd, 2018 | By | Category: Radio News

A Lower Hutt café owner says he’s losing coffee sales due to the ever increasing price of milk.

Statistics from the figure.nz website show milk prices in New Zealand increased by nearly 17% in the last three years.

Devon Sweets owner Victor Swainey says as a result, a coffee in his café which cost three dollars 50 in 2015,  now costs four dollars 80 and sales are slowing.
