New Zealander unfazed by Indonesian quake

Aug 13th, 2018 | By | Category: Lead Radio Story, Multimedia, News

A New Zealander staying in Indonesia says the killer quake had no effect on him.

Wellington man Andrew Burgin was in Bali when the 6.9 magnitude quake struck.

Hundreds of people have died and thousands more have been injured in Lombok, but nearby Bali is relatively unscathed.

Andrew says his experiences in New Zealand meant this recent quake left him unfazed.

Bali has suffered some damage but airports are still operating.
